VoIP: Cannot view attachements correctly from the Fax2Email service

If you are having problems viewing attachments from the Fax to Email Service and cannot view the second/third pages etc then you need to change the viewer you are using.

Follow these steps to change your viewer.

  1. From your Desktop select "My Computer" .
  2. From the toolbar select the "Tools" option and then from the dropdown menu select "Folder Options".
  3. Select the "File Types" Tab.
  4. Find the "TIF" extension .
  5. Highlight this file type and select the "Advanced" button.
  6. Select "Open" from the Actions box.
  7. Select the "Edit" button from the right.
  8. Change the "Application used to perform action:" field to read
    rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1
  9. Select the "preview" button from the right.
  10. Change the "Application used to perform action:" field to read
    rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1
  11. Select OK.
  12. Select OK

Next time that you open the attachment make sure that you select "Windows Picture and fax Viewer" from the open with option.
