VoIP: Cannot view attachements correctly from the Fax2Email service
If you are having problems viewing attachments from the Fax to Email Service and cannot view the second/third pages etc then you need to change the viewer you are using.
Follow these steps to change your viewer.
- From your Desktop select "My Computer" .
- From the toolbar select the "Tools" option and then from the dropdown menu select "Folder Options".
- Select the "File Types" Tab.
- Find the "TIF" extension .
- Highlight this file type and select the "Advanced" button.
- Select "Open" from the Actions box.
- Select the "Edit" button from the right.
- Change the "Application used to perform action:" field to read
rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1
- Select the "preview" button from the right.
- Change the "Application used to perform action:" field to read
rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1
- Select OK.
- Select OK
Next time that you open the attachment make sure that you select "Windows Picture and fax Viewer" from the open with option.
