Getting Started

Below are some useful tips on getting started with Easy Internet Solutions.
For more information, please have a read of our guide at:

Configuration

To start using VoIP, configure your VoIP hardware or software phone
to use "sip.freevirtualnumbers.co.uk" as the domain, and "sip.freevirtualnumbers.co.uk:5060"
as the SIP proxy. If you are behind a NAT gateway (e.g. if you
are using a 192.168.x IP address on your PC or SIP phone) then you should
use "nat.freevirtualnumbers.co.uk:5082" as the outbound proxy.

VoiceMail

We provide a free voicemail service. If you are off line, then
messages will be taken and forwarded to you via email. You can
access the voice mail service by dialing *1 from your phone.
Alternatively, you may dial 0870 861 6661 from any PSTN line.
When prompted, enter your mailbox number (xxxxxxxx) and your
pin code (xxxx).

Who Can I Call?

Once you've got your account working, please try and make some test
calls. Obviously, you can ring any non-premium rate phone number
on the public network (including international numbers).

Credit is required for making calls to PSTN numbers. You can get
credit at:

Calling other Easy Internet Solutions Users

You can also ring your friends who are also using Easy Internet Solutions for free.
Simply dial their extension numbers. If you have friends using other
VoIP services, they can ring you by dialing xxxxxxx@sip.freevirtualnumbers.co.uk.

Echo Test

You can also ring 160, which is an echo test. This will replay your
voice to you as it is received, so you can determine the latency
on this service.

We also have a speaking clock on 123.
